ELECTRIC POW WOW @ BABYLON JANUARY 14TH 2012.

Here are a few flicks from the Electric Pow Wow on Saturday January 14th at Babylon night club, we were lucky enough to bring in our buddy and photographer, John Paille to document the night...the pictures turned out great, and I definitely recommend checking out his Flickr to see the rest of his work. Honestly, it was one of our most packed nights with a lineup down the street full of people wanting to come and jam to some ATCR beats. Old friends and new faces came together to experience just how out of control EPW can get and I don't think that a single person left disappointed. There is something so captivating about all kinds of people just wanting to have a good time and dancing their butts off to our old traditional songs that have been recreated by ATCR as new music that is keeping the voices of our elders alive. it is pretty ground breaking stuff, and something that you have to experience for yourself if you haven't already. Big ups to the amazing staff at Babylon and the citizens of Ottawa for being amazing dance partners.

This Thursday in collaboration with Ritual's weekly jam night Drop It Like It's Hot, we will be throwing it down in the basement. Thursday's at Ritual are always a good time, but with A Tribe Called Red in the house it is sure to be an unforgettable night so come brave this insane typical Ottawa weather and warm up on the dance floor with your favorite deejays (19+, 6$ at the door)

We hope the holidays have done you well and you are ready to go after the year 2012 hard, who knows, it could be the last right? Although we are only a few weeks into January, we have been crazy busy travelling (PHILLY!) and working on new tracks which are available for your enjoyment on our soundcloud page.
